Dr. Andrew Zurek

For the last 13 years, Dr. Zurek has been serving the Portland metro area focusing on treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, with a speciality in treating traumatic auto collision injuries. He has also focused on helping people with various conditions to regain function and vitality in their lives.

Originally from Poland, Dr. Zurek has experienced several different cultures and ways of life.

He has encountered unique experiences, such as living in Eastern Europe before the fall of the Berlin Wall and communism. Dr. Zurek has been in the United States for over 38 years, having lived in Brooklyn, NY, as well as Las Vegas, NV, where he received his B.S. in the study of Human Biomechanics.

Dr. Zurek moved to Oregon to attend the prestigious Western States Chiropractic College, fell in love with Oregon and all its beauty and decided to make Oregon his permanent home.

Dr. Zurek has always had a strong interest in the understanding of the human body and its workings. Before he became a chiropractor, Dr. Zurek worked as a certified personal trainer. Wanting to have a career where he could use his knowledge of the human body to help people, the chiropractic field gives him the opportunity to treat and ease pain with a very targeted and holistic approach that traditional medicine often fails to address.

“One of my top priorities is to ensure the comfort of my patients, which is reflected in my adjustive technique.”

Dr. Zurek uses low force adjustments, which is comfortable for the one receiving care, but also extremely effective in creating the desired therapeutic effect. His goal is to make chiropractic care a pleasant experience. And as someone who believes in holistic care, Dr. Zurek also treats the extremities (feet, knees, wrists, shoulders, etc) which are areas that many other practitioners often neglect. He has had great success in treating various neuro-musculo-skeletal conditions, including common conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, knee pain, rotator cuff strains, and plantar fasciitis, and various sport related conditions..

“I believe that we can all live healthy lives feeling great but sometimes we forget how we should feel and we need someone who cares to show us the way.”
